The COREON Code of Conduct for Health Research is available in translation

The Code of Conduct, issued under the responsibility of the Committee on Regulation of Health Research, the COREON Foundation, clarifies which rules Dutch health research should comply with in order to responsibly deal with personal data and human tissue. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the primary source for the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct elaborates on the GDPR in conjunction with supplementary or special Dutch legislation.

The Code of Conduct was originally published in Dutch in 2022 and is now available in English translation. The translation was drafted by MLCF as a service to the research community and subsequently reviewed by a professional translator. The publication is a first deliverable of the implementation of the Code of Conduct, a collaboration between Health-RI, COREON, NFU, STZ, FMS, NVVP and other partners to provide tools and guidelines to implement COREON’s code of conduct for health research into practice.

For more information, please consult the Code of Conduct or the general site on the Code of Conduct (in Dutch).
